Where to enter a promo code?

I know that there should be a box for entering promo code at check out, but it didn’t appear this time. I was buying again from the same seller, and I was able to enter a promo code last time. Not sure if seller can opt not to accept a promo code? I dare not to ask the seller directly…can anyone help? many many thanks!
