Conversion Rates

I was just wondering what a normal conversion rate would be. I am a new seller so my 2% conversion rate is probably impacted by this but I am interested to find out what more established sellers have.

As a seller with almost 1100 positive reviews and 1400 total orders, I think I may call myself a established seller here. My conversion is 6.3%, it has been higher before but for me it seems that in the last few months (november,december) my sales and conversion drop. Then in January I will get a massive amount of orders and conversion will go up.

If you’re talking about sellers contacting you and ending up buying your gig, I’d say it varies. For me they end up buying most of the time but there are always tire-kickers and if you deal nicely with them, they might just come back someday and order. Even if they don’t, I just be happy that I did my part and off to work. Hope my answer helps.
