Gig portfolio and cover image... Your suggestion?

Hi!

I will not explain too much because it may be a stupid question. But i need to ask it.
I want to change my gig pictures and cover photo. I just need to know that is it a good idea to change them. Because i heard from some friends that it will leave negative effect on your gig. Your impressions will drop, your gig will drops in search pages, your order ratio will drop etc.

What are your thoughts? 🙂
