Fiverr's Movember Fundrazor!

Hi everyone,

November is here, and with that comes the phenomenon that is “Movember,” a month dedicated to raising awareness and funds for men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and physical inactivity.

To show our support for this awesome cause, a few awesome members of the Fiverr team are growing out their facial hair for the rest of the month! In addition, we will be hostinga company-wide auction fundraiser to be held on 11/25, with all proceeds going to the Movember Foundation! At this auction, people will be paying to have the participants’ facial hair shaved by a barber into one of several styles as decided by the winning bidder!

Sounds fun, right? Well, there are a couple of ways that we would like for all of you to join us and get in on the action:

1. If you are participating in No-Shave November as well, please reply to our weekly post every Friday with a photo detailing your personal progress. At the end of the month, we’ll choose one user’s epic-looking beard, goatee, or mustache and give them a surprise gift!

2. One of the Fiverr team members will have their facial hair styled according to the community’s vote! To help decide what style that person gets, please vote below! How about an update on the successes, winners of the FitBit, T-shirt details etc for the October Breast Cancer donation/sweepstakes before launching (five days late) into Movember?

I mean, are you going to do this with all your fundraisers? That’s a jolly poor show. People like to see the results of their fundraising, after all.

I’ll be watching… but as a lady, I have no moustache to grow or share (or do I…?)

We’re past the midway point of the months, folks! How are all of your 'staches and beards looking? Mine is looking rather patchy and I’m very much tempted to attack my face with an electric shaver every morning, but this is being done for the greater good! Show us what your facial hair looks like and you could win an awesome prize at the end of the month!

I’m not sure I qualify since I’m not skipping all shaving entirely, but here I am. I tried the completely no-shave Movember a couple years ago and I couldn’t make it to three weeks: the itching and dry skin was just awful.

Very strange. I’ve taken note of this bug and will pass it down through the proper channels. Whatever the case may be, if you’re not doing the full no-shave, do you have the 'stache or a goatee growing?

There does seem to be a problem with images right now. For this thread only, if you would like your picture added, PM me with the picture and the exact first sentence from your post here. I’ll add the pictures for anyone, but please do this only for this one thread so I don’t get overwhelmed. 🙂
