Employing people to complete gigs

I have been contacted twice this week by individuals seeking to complete my sales for a portion of what I earn from them. One just basically asked if I’d sell the service and he complete it (a type of service I’m not even familiar with doing nor do I have listed) for some of the income. Another person offered to write my gigs for me (I do have a writing gig listed).

Is this something people actually do? Is this something that needs to be reported? Frankly it annoys me because both times the message me with casual conversation before getting to their scheme. I don’t have time for chit chat and I’m not putting my name on the line for someone else’s work which may be sub-par. Plus I don’t like being solicited like this.

Anyway, should people be doing this? Should it be reported?
