fastcopywriter
You don’t have to be online all day long. I just woke up and made 7 sales while I sleep. Your other advice is OK, but let me add one more.Don’t ask sellers to communicate before they order. This only delays orders and gives clients a chance to change their minds. Instead, encourage orders. It’s always easier to refund when you can’t do it than to waste time dealing with chatty Cathy’s.
jamesbulls
Absolutely. Insisting that buyers contact you before they purchase is almost literally the same as saying, “GO AWAY.”
mariokluser
There are exceptions though. Nearly all my orders are results of custom offers. In cases were a buyer has a document to translate and his source file isn’t native he has to request a custom offer. worldtraveller2
start off offering your services for the lowest price, you may have to do lots of work for almost no $, but just focus on getting leads and sales at beginning to get ratings etc.
fastcopywriter
But you can always send a custom order after they order, it’s like an order within an order.
fastcopywriter
What annoys me the most is how it hurts my bottom line, the sooner they order, the sooner I get paid.

jamesbulls
This is basic Sales 101 stuff: don’t create obstacles to closing the sale. Once the customer has paid money, you’ve got time to smooth things over, but if the customer never pays money, there’s nothing to smooth over.
