rileywalz
When I do video syncing, do I send the buyer the audio file of exactly what needs to go in the video at the right place, or do I send them them the video with the audio and everything in it? Kind of confused now… ¯_(ツ)_/¯Thanks!
Anna
If you do voice overs you usually sync up your audio so it fits the timing of the video, unless the client sends you the video and wants you to overlay it. You should clarify with your buyer ;).
awesomecreation
Another way to look at it is if someone has an English version of a video and they want you to do a voice over in Spanish, you would need to sync the Spanish so that it overlaps when the English version is speaking so as to make it sound at the same time. Another example might be that the buyer has a commercial that is 18.5 seconds long and you need to make sure that your voice over ends at exactly 17.5 seconds. Making sure that things happen at the right time is the essence of any kind of sync.
