Voice Over Auditions in Buyer Requests

Hello voice over folk,



I have noticed a lot of buyer requests looking for a custom read of their script. How does everyone handle these as I can’t see anyway to attach a custom file to a buyer request?

After the potential customer responds to your offer, you can send them a sample directly through the messaging system. I wouldn’t spend time on a sample until you have had a direct conversation.

Reply to @landongrace: Thanks man. I haven’t tried to do any custom auditions and normally direct people to my main gig for a sample. Just want to make sure I’m not missing something.

If I have time, I never think it hurts to send a few lines to someone to see if the voice is the right fit. That is much better than having refunds. Especially on something that is long.
