jforjimmies
http://i.imgur.com/GRkXH24.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/LRpVoZO.jpgDue to this simple misunderstanding I ended up several hours late on those four orders. I lost my express tag on the gig and my percentage success rate dropped by 1%.Fortunately the buyer is a nice guy and messaged me about them instead of just cancelling. He was patient and understanding. I got the orders done, no problem.I knew something was weird about this though, since I saw orange tags on the orders and thought “new” meant that the buyer hadn’t given instructions yet. I figured it was a glitch caused by the maintenance yesterday. I sent a message to support to try to explain to them what went wrong, but they said something to the effect of, "there’s nothing we can do about the late orders."Point is, check your “new” orders for their status text. This is definitely a user-friendliness flaw in the GUI design. I’m new, so I didn’t know. Don’t make the same mistake I did.I hope I can at least gain the express tag back somehow. bitbyteworld
FYI: NEW means this order is just placed. It does not mean that buyer did not sent any instructions. When buyer do not send any instructions, that order status is INCOMPLETE in Yellow same color. jforjimmies
Reply to @madmoo: Yeah I was checking, actually. For some reason the order status didn’t update to “in progress”. How long does it normally take for “new” orders to change to “in progress”?

hotwebideas
Reply to @madmoo: I agree with @Madmoo. I never look at the orange. I always look at the list of sales and knock them out one at a time. They tell you exactly when you have to deliver and has served me well instead of the orange tags. There are a lot of Fiverr bugs lately.Bruce
