Does response rate track applicable for spam message or offers

Hi there all,

I am a new seller here. Last week I got a message form a seller offering me to buy some sort of services. I checked it but did’t reply or report on that, as it seemed me to a spam offer.

Later this week, I came to know that good response rate is related to my first reply on a buyer’s message. So I tried to reply the message but that message could not be opened. it was showing: “For privacy reasons, this user may not be contacted directly.” Then I deleted that message.

If it’s a spam and I didn’t reply on it, Is there any chance to get a bad response rate next month for this? or something else?

Yes, every message will track for response rate. You can make a trick. Just leave a message like don’t do spam or anything else and then mark those inbox as spam so your response rate will never low down.
