Question about promo

Any recommendations, suggestions, thoughts about gigs offering to promote a gig by sending gig to thousands of followers on twitter, fb? And can someone please explain the advantage of gig collection? I’m trying to promo my gig, but not confident with the way to do that. Any assist is most deeply appreciated.
