redrose1
I am sold on tips. It is important to understand that tips are not forced and if some does not want to leave a tip that is just fine too. I think most good tips are left for a good job done. Anna
Reply to @ralucamath: It does not necessary increase your orders, what he was saying is, it increases your profit, meaning you will be able to generate more income overall.
joeyperezwest
Reply to @ralucamath: Lower your price, and take a chance to rely on tips… is one way but the main topic of the post was increase profit.

joeyperezwest
Reply to @ralucamath: Just test out one gig, look at your competitors, offer 3x what they offer for $5 dollars, so you are the low price leader, you’ll get tons of hits and orders, then promote the fact that you take tips, and that you appreciate tips and it helps you keep going, and that your prices are great compared to others and let them tip you for a job well done… I mean if you give them only two choices, buying from YOU or the other guy, you will more than likely get tipped if you treat them good…
joeyperezwest
Reply to @thusie: That’s awesome to read. I mean it just is so nice for buyers to tip. I don’t know about you but when I tip, I feel good about it.

emmaki
Oooh! Anyway, I think tips are a dead loss. I’ve got quite a few tips I’m waiting on from people who were happy and would “give me a tip”.Jeez, man, just tip.
mgjohn78
One thing to keep in mind is that this is an international site and in many parts of the world there simply isn’t any tipping culture. When i got my first tip on fiverr i went to the tax office to find out what taxes i needed to pay on tips. Nobody knew, then eventually i was told to pay 30% gift taxes on the tip portion (that didn’t work out though as i needed client information for the gift tax forms that aren’t available on fiverr). emmaki
I come from a non-tip culture and I live in a non-tip culture. If someone starts really banging on about how they’re going to give a tip……**** off. I don’t do or say anything, because they don’t either. Just quit and ****. ueritom
Reply to @joeyperezwest: if your idea helps to get more tips, I won’t have problems at all to tip you. I’ll consider it as “comission”…haha
ueritom
I have created a quick response, which I named “default delivery”. One paragraph of it is this:“If you are satisfied, please mark the order as complete. You may also tip me if you think I made a good job. This option is avaible when you finish the order (it is optional).”My tips have increased after I put that, I believe from 1% to 5% of the orders. fastcopywriter
What if they tip you with $5? Do you mention it? I always review those buyers as “Thanks for the tip!” but I don’t mention the amount.

I am not sure how they relate to the posts and while entertaining as light humorous artwork, perhaps you could slow down a bit on these?
