"I'll place an order tomorrow!" *never see them again*

This has happened to me quite a few times; A potential client tells me the details of their project, says they’ll give me everything I need the next day, and then I never see or hear from them again. Not really a big deal but I just find it amusing. How many times has this happened to you? 🙂

Happens from time to time. Or, they even ask me to send them a custom offer, I do it, and then I never hear from them again.

I wait a week and send them a friendly message, “Is there anything else you need from me to proceed with your order?” A few them order, a few tell me reason for delay so I add to followup list, and the rest stay gone, so I delete the message to clear my inbox.

By the way, I make heavy use of the label function in messages. I code them with order, follow-up, awaiting follow-up reply, potential future order, avoid, etc. Makes filtering thru messages quick and easy.
