ORDER PAYMENT CONFUSION [Resolved}

I ordered a gig of $5 but I was unsatisfied with the seller’s performance so I had to cancel it. Can I withdraw those $5 from my bank account OR they are freezed in fiverr and have to be utilized by ordering another gig.

Reply to @seopro_writer: Incorrect in almost all cases. The buyer receives the refund as Fiverr credit to be spent on gig(s).

Reply to @jonbaas: They actually do now in very specific cases and I think the ToS has been updated to reflect it. However, I don’t think they do it often or for low amounts. I’ll see if I can find the part in the ToS that changed.

Here it is and it’s probably a death knell for the buyer if they request it without very good reason, but they do now agree to hear the case if someone insists:

“Deposit refunds, when available from the payment provider, can be performed by our Customer Support team. To prevent fraud and abuse, we limit the total amount of times users can request a payment provider refund from their account which is subject to review by our Customer Support team. Such refunds may be subject to an additional fee. If any processing fees were added at the time of purchase to create a new order, the processing fees from that payment will be refunded along with your deposit.”

Reply to @solow13: true… don’t understand that. Just 5$ create so many troubles, I wonder how can people expect a lot for that? I’m sure seller did something and spent some time on it. I cancel such orders, in my opinion gready buyers cannot do any good and bring only troubles…

Reply to @logo_desing: absolutely wrong: all refunds are given as Fiverr credit you can spend to order some gig, given that the gig cost is lower or equal than the credit amount.
Please take a look at Fiverr TOS.

Reply to @solow13: First I am also a seller and I know pretty well how it feels for a seller who did his job pretty fine and gets no reward. I just accidently ordered a gig and me and my seller cancelled it mutually. please think befoe you speak.
