Some guidance needed

Hello everyone,

I know this question was answered many many times but i’ve read all the guides people posted on here, checked out many ways of “advertising” promoting, i tried many of these without any success. I am a very honest and hardworking graphic designer that i recently i got laid off my work, that’s why i joined fiverr. I need to make up for lost time and bills. I made my first gig 1 week ago and only received one order. ( i know i am new ) One of my big problems is when i downscale my images to show samples of work ( 500 x 370 ) all my images look like S***t. I am starting to believe that is why i am not getting any sales. Any workaround for that? Thanks in advance to everyone!
