Provide commercial rights document ?!

Hi everyone,



My name is Mohamed A.Gedo working as a graphic designer, I do simple minimalistic logos on fiverr.com, I saw some of my similar gigs and checked their extras, I found that many designer have an extra called ‘provide commercial rights document’ but I don’t know anything about this extra!



Can anyone help me with this letting me know what is that mean and how can I provide the buyers with it ?!

I think I do something similar with my “printable for blog or Etsy” gig, I basically just allow someone to resell the item as much as they want if they purchase that option. I don’t put it in writing though.

I don’t get it yet!, you mean that I don’t deliver anything to my buyer??? @grafficalmuse:

Basically it means that the buyer is free to use the artwork, logo etc for commercial use without any ownership issues or legal claims.

I personally do not, maybe I should, I’m not sure. It’s basically me saying “you’re free to use this commercially”.

If you wanted to do something like that, maybe create a word doc or PDF stating your terms of service for commercial use.

If you wish to create such a document, keep in mind that giving your personal information to buyers is strictly forbidden by Fiverr’s Terms of Service.

Its just a text document stating generic statements regarding what you are allowed to do and what not with the artwork. . For ideas see “Free for commercial use” text files which come with fonts.
