maddisont
You do not get extra time. The buyer has the option to cancel the order (the money will be refunded) and Fiverr will automatically leave you a 1 star review.Do not let the timer run out. If you’re experiencing trouble, or will not be able to deliver your product to the buyer, mutually cancel before you hurt your rating.
genuineguidance
If you go beyond the time frame you have stated in your profile for the Gig, you will get an email “warning” from Fiverr that you are late in delivering your Gig, and if you do not deliver it within 24 hours of the “warning” notice, that the client will then have the option to cancel the order and this results in automatic negative feedback, which will read that the order was cancelled due to not being delivered on time. This affects not only your star rating, especially when new to the site, but also your ability to Level up as a seller and be able to offer more Extras as well as have more of a presence of trust on the site.As said above, if you are faced with an order you cannot handle, it is always best to attempt to do a mutual cancellation before things go too far. Most buyers will cancel, but, if you let it go beyond the “warning” email period, most likely, you will be looking at a negative review, which no one wants!GG

fonthaunt
Reply to @sticoeur: Just a quick note to you before you try this with a buyer. Calling females “girls” is considered unprofessional in American English. I cannot speak about UK, Australia or other English speaking places. I would suggest you avoid using a word for gender if you are not sure. If you need to use use one, use “women” or perhaps “ladies” instead of “girls.” “Dear” is also inappropriate. reinier01
Agreed. In South Africa you could get stuck with either a s****l harrassment suit, or just as bad, a charge of using “hate speech”.
