onlinedzshop
Hi,a lot of people are saying it’s ok to ask your buyers for tips, I think it’s not, tips are earned not asked for, if I was a buyer and the seller asks me to give him a tip i’d be a little bit annoyed, I’ll give you a tip when I feel like it, when you earn it, you should not ask me for tips, I don’t know maybe i’m wrong, who else agrees with me ? and who thinks it’s ok to ask for a tip ?As a seller i’ve never asked for tips, and I got a lot of them, just because I gave the buyer more than he expects, I made sure that he’s 200% happy that when he sees the tip button his hand will move by itself because of happiness and leaves a tip.Thank you, just sharing my opinion. hanashivoice
I agree! I never ask for tips. If I’m lucky the buyer will just give me one!
alliemadison12
I agree. I would never ask for a tip, and I would be annoyed if someone asked for one. That’s up to buyers to decide if they think that a seller went above and beyond.I once had a horrible breakfast in NYC and the waitress (who was quite rude and inattentive) reminded me to leave a tip THREE times. Three! Just a tip… asking for tips makes people not tip. Just provide a great service and know that what goes around comes around.

onlinedzshop
Reply to @alliemadison12: I’m with you, should not ask for a tip it’s up to the buyer, sellers should deliver what makes them earn a tip, even if they don’t get a tip, the buyer deserves their best even if it’s just a $5 order. It only makes you look bad.
onlinedzshop
Reply to @designernavyug: so you know fiverr policies, and you don’t know that spamming other threads with comments not related is not allowed ?
thecreativeguys
Asking for a tip bluntly is not recommended.Asking for their six senses regarding your work, can lead you to a tip.
humorous
I totally agree with you on this. Asking buyers for tip is like forcing them to pay more for the service you provided. If i happen to buy a gig and the seller ask me “DIRECTLY” to give a tip, i might because of that do something crazy.Tip or not tip, over deliveries has been part of the system and you can’t force anyone to spend beyond his/her budget.
