FYI: You don’t need to add your gig link to your posts. People can just click on your name or forum photo to be taken directly to your Fiverr profile. Posting your own gig links on your posts is unnecessary spam.

Reply to @jamesbulls: I think the only real tangible way the forum has helped my business here on Fiverr (aside from giving me a virtual water cooler), is that I’ve learned the usernames of other sellers, so if a buyer is looking for services that I can’t provide, I have a little list of people that know are actually what they claim to be (i.e. native English speakers) to whom I can refer them. I know that that favor has been returned on several occasions. To my knowledge, I’ve never had anyone purchase from me who found me just through the forums.

Reply to @inspiredtony: Since you are open to advice, here’s one more bit. If you ever want to claim a hacking incident (whether it’s true or not) take note of the dates. Make sure you don’t have what appear to be your usual posts in My Fiverr Gigs on any of the same days the hacker took over. It makes the story less plausible even if it’s true.
