Mine was do some programming things related to navigation and maps for Android. The buyer was a guy from Saudi Arabia who needed help to complete his college final project, it was a streak of 12 orders in a row, $5 each, after complete one task, one more came out. He heard about me thanks to the "Buyer Requests"



Now, the gig that put me “into the game” is not available anymore

Hello. My first order was from Malasiya, I spent about 3 hours on those 5 bucks (bootstrap website with database and some js code). After the same guy made 10 more orders, untill I stopped working for such small amounts of money.

Don’t use Gigblast for any work. You have to tell them several times the same thing over and over. The designs are not unique and usually clipart designs they have used over and over again. Not what their profile describes. It took weeks to get the order done. I am quitting Fiverr if this the real experience I get. I would rather pay a local designer from now on.

Reply to @bobpierce: it’s your order, you can ask for modifications if he offers them, and if he said that the logo will be unqiue, you have the right to tell him that you’ve seen it before or that he’s using cliparts and he must change that or give you your money back, just communicate with them and tell them exactly whats wrong, if they bully you you can contact customer support about it.

My first order was from UK. it was not good experience. His website was not loading.
I said i can fix that for $5 . He agreed and i fix that very quickly. Then buyer said me to do more work on same order. He said me what i did is very simple work and its not worth $5. But i disagreed with him and requested him to order more gigs for extra work. He never ordered more and never give me a rating . Then i got orders from some cool people from around the world and still getting orders.

Reply to @mijanulkarim: Doesn’t matter if you have completed a job in 5 mins, the knowledge is power and it has to be paid! I don’t like those kind of buyers. They think that if you are able to solve a problem in 5 mins you don’t even deserve the $5, not cool!

And yes, there are a lot of cool buyers over here 🙂

Yes I remember 11 days ago I got my first order. I had to create a printable form for my client in both Word and PDF as well as insert his logo into the form. He also needed me to make his intro page look more appealing and add his logo to it which I did. I provided him WORD and PDF formats for both his printable form and intro page. I did all for $10 and delivered in under 24 hours.
