New Message from Someone...But I Can't Contact Them?

I just got a message for the first time from another user but, when I click on it, I get the message: "For privacy reasons, this user may not be contacted directly."



What is going on with this?

Yeah I got the same thing today, don’t bother to click on it if it doesn’t allow you to.
It seems like fiverr’s got scammers?!! Just delete the message so it won’t affect you response rate. 😦

That is all I could see of my message too! The part with the date and “this is to inform you…”

When this happens, most likely, as above, it is spam or some sort of scam someone is trying to pull. Their email most likely gets reported by many users (since they just send this nonsense to a ton of people here) and Fiverr cuts off their account, and for those who get to their messages after this occurs, they will get the notice that you cannot contact the user. Be glad you don’t have to bother with this sort of stuff!
