e-Mail of Buyer Not Permitted in Contact Box

Some Fiverr Promotions & Extras include an e-mail address in the order details to be included in the order post.



However, when an address is typed into the contact box a red error message appears to say that according to the “Terms Of Service” Buyers are not permitted to contact Sellers via direct e-mail, even though the e-mail is being requested/provided to complete the order, NOT contact the Seller.



Fiverr needs to eliminate this e-mail data bug, as Buyers are NOT getting all the services purchased.

it’s just a warning to tell you that sending information or things out of fiverr is dangerous, you can still send it even tho you get the red message.

Reply to @onlinedzshop: I would be careful actually, sometimes files won’t attach on a buyer’s end so I send my email address to a buyer. I recently got a warning from customer support stating that it could result in a level decrease or even account suspension.

If it’s part of your delivery, put it into a text file and attach it instead of typing it directly in the message box 🙂

Reply to @sydneymorgan: Wow I really didn’t know they would warn you or decrease your level, I don’t use emails or work outside of fiverr, but sometimes when you mention the word pay or money the red message appears, that’s why I thought it’s ok to send it anyway, So Iguess tarockmusic you should be more careful, try puting them in word files to avoid problems, thank you 🙂

Reply to @sydneymorgan: Never give a buyer your email. They can and will act on the warning. Dropbox is usually suitable for file exchanges when absolutely necessary.
