Showing I have a new message but I don't

I’m not sure about this, but I believe that it’s what happens when somebody sends you a message but it’s blocked by the system, probably because it contains forbidden words (“s***e”, “email”,…).
You get the pink dot over the envelope telling you that there’s a new message, but you don’t.

Fiverr sometimes deletes spam messages but since they seem to use a different table to store alerts, the system still tells you that there is a new message. In this case just ignore it. Sadly such alerts seem to affect your response time, but I am sure they will fix this soon 🙂

Ah, those bugs!



Have you tried clearing your history or logging out and back in the website? You could also log onto the mobile app and check our inbox to see if anything appears (or if the notification disappears).



Hopefully it will update in a few days!
