Voice Over Gig Commercial License Fee...MUST EDUCATE BUYERS!

Reply to @fonthaunt: That’s a scary though you just gave me.
Theoretically, anyone can have an account on Fiverr without any ID or Identification. How would the copyright work even if it’s purchased with the commercial extra, and the seller did not even have a paypal associated with his account, or a fake one… Then after this, he sues the other party for using his work using his fake name, or that can’t even be done. I’m lost lol 🙂

Reply to @marketman: The fee makes sense since you’re creating something and selling it for $4.00. So yes, a $4.00 creation would require an extra to own copyrights. Other freelancing sites, the base price is higher, including the copyright ownership.

Regarding your second point, you’re correct. I am fazed. How is this even able to be done if any random person can own an account on Fiverr without legal ID??!

I buy voiceover gigs on a regular basis and most of the time a lot, but I decided to no longer purchase from sellers who use the commercial licence with their gigs. I hope many other buyers do the same.

If you guys really care about your customers, you’ll abandon this crap.
