Warning- CHECK YOUR URLS

I have a friend(writer) that’s making thousands on Fiverrs and she brought this up to my attention.



CHECK YOUR URLS BEFORE CLICKING ON THEM.



She has been receiving a LOT of messages in her inbox that say something like this:



"Hey! I was wondering if you’re interested in writing my gig description, please check out my gig at (url here). I’ll buy three gigs from you to do it!"



The url that was sent was masked so well that if she didn’t warn me not to click on it, I would’ve. The sender put a lot of effort into it. What it does is that it redirects you to what looks like a Fiverr page, but you are “not logged in.” If you didn’t realize it was a fake site, you probably would have put in your login info in order to see what this person wanted you to write for.



She has been receiving one of these inboxes every other day for the past two weeks and I received my first yesterday. I believe they’re targeting featured and top rated sellers but I’m sure any of you are at risk.
