Hello EVERYONE! 😉

Awesome testimonials! I’ve been working on fiverr since January 2015 and reaching $1000 at the age of 21 !! Wow!! Feels greatttt! I don’t dream big, i make small goals. So here i am reaching to my $2000 !!

Yes! Agree to that man above, ‘little drop of water makes an ocean’ i learned and still learning lots of factors here on fiverr and worked 18 hours a day. It feels great when you get positive feedback 🙂

For new people here… Just give your best, it will pay off 🙂

It was great to reach $1,000 in about 2 months. I honestly was afraid I’d never get a sale when I first started but my first month I made $350 and then the second month I made over $600 so my goal is to make $1,000 a month and hopefully I’ll hit that soon!

It’s great to see how many people have been doing well. And I know you see over and over just keep giving deals in the beginning as well as great service and it ends up worth it and I’ve found I keep having to raise my prices because I get so many messages and customers looking for a VA and I’m sure it’s from all the great reviews I’ve had. And those reviews are due to great service and probably some deals in the beginning too!

Reaching $1k on Fiverr was an affirmation that I knew I was on the right path as a Fiverr writer and that I knew my gig was only going to get better, both in-terms of sales and quality of product. Motivation is found in many ways as a Fiverr seller: customer feedback, increase in volume of orders, improvement of gig ranking in your category, and, finally, sales figures.

As my sales and feedback grew, so did my recognition, which Fiverr has noticed, too, awarding me with the coveted “Featured Seller” tag. I am so proud and humbled by this whole experience in my first year on Fiverr. I look forward to many more years working here. The best job I’ve ever had as an adult, by far.

It was awesome! I’ve been here for 1 year now. It definitely gave me the motivation to carry on doing what I do best and hopefully realise my potential. Next milestone… $10,000!

Also, I’m offering a free gig to celebrate this when one is ordered, for anyone who quotes SAVE2015 in their order to me. This offer will only last a month from today though so hurry!

Hi everyone!

I am a seller whose gigs focus on writing, business reports, excel charts, and graphic work like photo retouching and eCover design.

I have been on Fiverr since the middle of Feb 2015. Last month, in May, I broke the $1,000 mark. May was also the first month that I made $1,000 within one month - out of a total of $1,632 so far. This is great feeling. Each month I am making more than I did in the previous month, and I expect to break $10,000 before the end of the year.

There are a lot of great tips out there, and way too many for me to include in this post. Here are 3 things that I have done which I think were a big help.

  • Fiverr Top Rated Seller carrieblogger has a gig where she will send you a Fiverr success guide for $5. The information inside is mostly basics, but it’s a great buy for new sellers or any sellers who haven’t had many sales yet. This is the first resource I bought & followed and it was a great help with getting started.

  • There is an eBook called “Fiverr Success” which is sold outside of Fiverr for about $20. Once you’ve implemented everything from Carrie’s guide, this a a great next step. Some of the advice inside is take it or leave it, but most of it is really helpful. You just have to take the time to implement it.

  • Once you have all of your gigs set up well and they are following the guidelines, you might want to try some advertising. Seller magellon, and many others, offer a $5 gig where they will tweet your gig to 100k+ followers on business marketing twitter accounts. I have done this twice, and both times received about 100 views in a day for gigs that were getting 0-5 otherwise. Save this option until you know your gigs are set up well, otherwise you may get lots of views but no sales.

You could choose to use all of these resources or not, it is up to you. I’m not getting anything from sharing them and I’m not an affiliate, these are just a couple methods that I have used so far and they have worked for me. Last month I made $1k on Fiverr part-time, while only making $2k a month with my day job.

Hope this helps, and good luck to everyone!

Reply to @videoscribe4u: Don’t leave so much money in your Fiverr account! For one thing, Fiverr doesn’t pay you interest. Transfer it to an online bank account that is very secure, like Capitol One or something, if you don’t want to get the cash and spend it.

Second, and most important, is that Fiverr and sellers here have been victim to hackers that take your money out of your account. You can take money out once you reach $50 and pay the maximum Paypal fee of $1, or you can go up to a few hundred dollars and still pay just $1 to Paypal. I take out once a week and put my money in the bank.

For my field of Gigs its different. As it is still micro jobs, but I get custom jobs usually. which are higher in value. So I reached 600,- with only 50 Gigs and also level 2 at the same time. A few weeks more and I should reach 1000,-

How long does it usually take you guys to make each 1000,- ??

I must admit , that in the begining , I would have been very glad just to reach my first $100 here on Fiverr, seeing the 4$ by $4 adding slowly , order after order , especially in the begining , being a new user and all ( btw , New Fiverr users , Don’t give up on Fiverr ).

Still , after a short while , and with just 1 Gig , as other users also said above , I started to learn more and more things around here , and in the present I found myself delivering Gigs I woul NEVER have thought I will ever DO !!! . But I am now , and the $1000 have been reached for about 3 months in the past…and the best part is , the things are getting better and better… Good luck to all of you !

Reply to @bestidlogo: It can be daunting to think of, but there is a trick to it. remember that just because a basic gig is $5 does not mean that you will only make $5 per order. Multiples and extras raise that quite a bit. My current average selling price is $28 per order. One trick that I use is to make sure that whatever I offer for $5 is something I can do in 15 minutes or less. You can also use custom offers to set your own pricing for a buyer’s specific request. I made $1k last month, and I don’t even work Fiverr full time. Stay positive, it’s not impossible. 🙂

It feels good. When I saw it for the first time, I thought, Wow! that was a lot of work, but then I remembered how much I have learned along the way and the mistakes that I won’t be making anymore. I feel very positive moving forward and I am look forward to a long career as a freelancer and life experimenter! I will never go back to working for someone else and commuting. I love working from home and between fiverr and other websites, I am making a decent living now. FREELANCE Forever!!! 🙂

Thanks a lot for posting this question. I realized today that I made 2300+ in last two years of working. I was so busy with work that I could not keep an eyes on the numbers. Your post opened my eyes and made me realize that its really a huge amount to make.

Thanks again for posting this question. 🙂

I havent yet reached the 1k mark, just crossed 650$ mark. The feeling of crossing 650 mark after collecting 5$ penny by penny feels really great, this money which I could have otherwise not earned is now mine due to fiverr 😃
