Do you have to order before a seller will respond?

I am trying to make sure that what I need done is what the seller is capable of doing or wants to do before I order? Is this commanplace here to not respond? Thanks

No, that is not common. And most sellers will respond to you before you place an order. In fact some sellers say you must contact them ahead of time.



If you look at the sellers profile it says an average response time, which is I beleive the time it takes them to respond to a message or anything.



What does the delivery time on their gig say? HOw many days will it take them to do the job?



If you sent a message and it’s more than a day that you have not received an answer, then maybe try looking for someone else. Pay attention to reviews, ratings, and all that other stuff to find a good seller to get what you need from.



Also, be clear and read the gig description all the way through. If you are asking a seller to do something more custom, they will usually give you a higher quote.

Good god, no. If a seller is not responding to your inquiries the last thing you should do is order from them.

Yes I agree the best way to get a feel of someone first before you place your order is to message them first. It wouldn’t be nice to place an order and then they do not deliver what you want.

Agree with @steveeyes and @julipalmer7 - if the Seller isn’t responding, I absolutely would NOT order from them. This is the time for Sellers to be on their best behavior - if he/she can’t even do that well, just imagine what their work is going to be like… 🙂
