Invoice generation time 4 to 5 weeks - So Slow

I have to pay my business tax by this month end and Fiverr support says they need 4 to 5 weeks to giv eme invoices…Ideally the invoice should be ready as and when orders are placed without explicitly asking for it. Need to improve on this part.

You can get invoices as a buyer. Actually, it also stopped me once from ordering. I am working for an NGO and on behalf of this NGO I wanted to order some editing services for one of our reports, as that was required by our funder. However, because of the processing time of the receipts, we were not able proceed, as the receipt would have been back to late. It should be very simple to write a script that makes receipts automatically, or that lets you make them.

I can understand the NGO threshold and needing specifics for accounting, but I am wondering if Fiverr even does what you are wanting? That is why it is taking a long time so in the future if this is what you need then Fiverr might not be the right place to hire people from. Fiverr needs to be careful I am guessing about what kind of information they give out. ARe you expecting it to be different than the orders in your account?

Reply to @gansal: I’m not “defending” anything, but you have invoices for each and every order you place.



Don’t you get the email saying “Thank you for your order” which has what gig you ordered from which seller? As well as an additional email from your payment method stating that $X has been paid?

I’m still waiting for my invoices sinds februari 2015! I always receive one invoice for each month and now I get 50, too late. I need 3 invoices, one for each month. I requested these on time, weeks before I needed them with proper explanation. They always give the wrong invoices (without VAT) and then you hear 2 weeks nothing anymore. They just closed the complaint and I reopened it for 12 times!! I want my invoices as issued before.

Everything went well until I filled in My VAT number. Now i’m waiting for 3 months for my invoices. I still don’t have them. After 3 weeks they answer giving you the wrong stuff. Than you have to wait again 3 weeks for a reply, again with the wrong stuff and again and again. I always received one invoice/month. Since I filled in VAT I have hugh problems. Still nothing correct

I was receiving invoices for 7 months without any problems and then it stopped. What has a breakdown of the US have to do with it?? If they tell me in 15 emails, that they going to send my invoices and I don’t receive them after 6 months? Ignore you or send previous invoices, Can I then conlude that fiverr has a breakdown? If they just tell me right away it is not possible, fine for me. Or if they are not ready yet, fine for me. If I have to remove my VAT and ask for manual invoices, fine for me. I just want a solution!

I would have searched for an other supplier in the mean time but they kept me waiting for months by saying that they will be send to me.

Maybe this is a whole new thing in America but also I and others had to prepare themselfs for the new rules. I did not come in one day

I filled in the Vat in my account. I do not receive automatic invoices. sometimes i get 3 but I made like 15 orders at least. 80% is missing. The VAT system does not work and I get now support.
