Identifying buyers by country/time period

I have written previously about how I like the World Domination map, mainly because it’s fun, and because you can see where you made sales. But it would be very useful – for tax purposes – to be able to track the exact number of and revenue from gigs delivered in your own country during a given period (e.g., per quarter or year). Right now I can learn the total number of sales I’ve made in my own country (by using the map), but (unless I’m mistaken) I can’t know how much $$$ I made from them (because some were single $5 gigs, while others were multiple gigs ($10, $25, etc). I guess I’m saying that I would appreciate more precise gig reporting.

Thank you for the comment. I am in Canada, and because I have a business I must pay a tax called HST that applies only to sales made in my country. I never consider that I’m being paid by Fiverr, but rather by individual clients through Fiverr, which is why I feel I need to ID my domestic sales (i.e., for HST purposes). But you make a good point. I’ll need to look into it.

Reply to @alecross: Nope, you are not being paid by buyers. Do you receive buyer information and a payment directly through them each time they buy? No, of course not, You only receive revenues from Fiverr. Fiverr is your service provider. They get you clients, you do the work and Fiverr pays you the money.

This is an interesting note, and you very well may need to look into this. I would imagine that your entire Fiverr revnues are all American since I think the company is based in the US.
