Time of delivery? My service has a duration of 1 week

Hi, I am planning to make a gig in which I offer a service for 1 week. I would like to say that I would start the gig in not more than 2 days, but I don’t think it’s good to mark it as delivered as soon as I have started, because I have not finished the work yet.

However, if I say 9 days for example (the 2 days of margin to start the gig + the week to complete the work), maybe users think that it takes me 9 days to start with their order, and they will think that it’s too long.

And if I say 2 days and I don’t mark it as delivered within that time, fiverr will think that I am doing things out of time.

So how should I do it? any suggestions?

You’re better off doing all nine days. Explain why it’s so long in your gig. It’s against the terms of service to mark a gig as done until it’s actually done, so you’d be hurting yourself in the long run if you made it look like it takes shorter than it does.

Hi,

Generally buyers will expect the 9 days (or however long you put) to be when you deliver the order. Sometimes I deliver in excess of my delivery date, sometimes I deliver on the date but when I start the work is completely up to me and my own timeframe.

I agree with Rachel - you should stipulate why it takes 9 days and try to describe in as much useful detail as possible what you will be doing/offering during that time.
