Best category for selling

Hello, does anyone knows which is the best category for starting a business on Fiverr?

Hi @estefi_lens, what I’d recommend is searching Fiverr for people offering something similar to what you’re considering. Start with Top Rated Sellers and successful Level 2’s, and get a feel for the types of Keywords they use, the categories they post it in, etc.

I think anything you excel at is a good place to start.

Anything that you do well and buyers want. Category matters less than being yourself and owning your work. There is a guy who wraps his hair in tinfoil, takes his dentures out and then wears a trash bag shirt to make make hilarious videos. He has thousands of sales.

Just think what you are good at, or what you can offer that will benefit someone in some or the other way that could be worth $5 for the buyer. You can also find what people are looking for, what is in demand (you can look in to ‘Buyer requests’ section for this).

Please don’t focus on what’s “in demand”. Sell something you are good at instead of adding to the categories that are flooded with terrible sellers looking to cash in.

I’ve also found the most success in performing something I’m good at. It definitely comes across in what you deliver your customers.

There’s a Top Rated Seller that covers himself in chocolate and sings happy birthday on video. So you see? Fiverr works when you embrace what you’re good at.



If you’re a good looking girl, you might get paid to hold a sign, paid extra to pose in a bathingsuit, write a word in your butt or belly. Do a video review (regular-looking people can get paid for that as well), etc.

Thank you everyone for your advices. It´s just that i find it difficult to excel in Logo design, there are many good designers…
