Requests from buyers

Hi

I Really enjoy my experience with Fiverr but just lately I have seen an increase of offers of work going through as requests for work and they also seem to be getting a lot of hits. I have reported this before with screen shots to be told they will be looking in to this more. however in the first 27 requests there are 13 offers (gave up counting) anyone else seeing this or is it just me

It’s happening, and it’s increasing day by day unfortunately. Perhaps a Seller Requests section would help? But then what’s the purpose of the gigs section? In addition, knowing how many people either don’t read or care to understand, the section would be dominated by buyers as well. Then we’ll have a Buyer Requests section for sellers and vice versa. 🙂

Or maybe people like us who are finding this happening could become some kind of admin to lesson the work for fiverr as they can’t keep up with it

I’ve seen that as well, maybe those people need to have their accounts suspended for 3 days. The request section is for people who need things done, not for people who do things.

Reply to @fastcopywriter: I totally agree with this. I think at least half of the ones that do it KNOW it is not the right place for it. I could see usefulness in @onefouru’s idea to do something like having forum admins also be BR admins, although until Fiverr adds more mods it wouldn’t work.



I like the idea of a 3 day suspension and auto-messages to to buyer and seller for any open orders stating that the buyer can immediately auto-cancel if they don’t want to wait. Perhaps that would happen only on a second or third strike since that’s pretty tough, but the problem is getting ridiculous.

well here we go I turn on the pc to find the first 5 requests are in fact offers to do work 😦
