Hahaha ^^ an excellent tactic to promote yourself. I’ll contact you when I’m in the market. Nice buyers are well…nice, but boring, I need atleast 1 weird buyer a month like the one I mentioned earlier to make things more interesting lmao…almost like a man who likes being randomly slapped by his woman in public.

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Negotiator man.

Someone asked to quote for a job. I quoted $60.

Response: “I will give you $5 and another $5 if you do it right now”.

And that’s how I got a good laugh that day and still laugh sometimes.

This was not my worst or funniest, just what came to my mind right now.

One buyer came to me asking for a quote for a work worth $50+ and 48 hours. Since it was my first month in fiverr, I decided to do it for discounted price of just $25 to increase my sales to get level one badge. That guy was like " I am only gonna pay you $5 for this and you must complete it within 6 hours." It’s that “charm” of buyers one member above was talking about and I agree the word “charm” itself is an understatement for him.

One buyer come to and told me to find all the detail of an teacher from Chicago area. i offer him $25 for 100 teacher detail because many information like name contact address email and designation and more. he told me he will give $5/100… i was thinking people really do very cheap work.

I don’t know if this is funniest but it sure made me laugh! I was about to go to bed at 1AM in my time zone and I got this message on my ghostwriting gig which isn’t even for homework:

"Hi dear how are you would you please help me ?

I have a homework that is have some question I need you to answer it and write 25 page essay , I need it in 7 hours ."

I wrote back to say that I was unlikely to accept the job since I had orders in queue with a currently delivery time of 2 days. I was in a position at the time where I was really in need of cash so I did tell him that I might consider it at a premium price. I quoted him $250, really hoping he would turn me down. I don’t like homework gigs. His response was:

"in 9 hour it is good for you

and for how mush will cost me then ,y dear."

I responded that it did not change the price unless he could wait 24 hours which would then cost him $225. He then offered me 10 hours and $15. I wrote “No thanks” and flagged the email so I would recognize him if he came back. I have a few of those flagged “red.”

Reply to @antoinedon: Yes, he did indeed although I have no idea if he understood my messages.

Granted, I had to add my special surcharge. I add an extra $150 for any buyer that calls me dear. It’s $100 if they call me sir, and $50 if they call me hun. 😃 I am so glad I do “red tag” these kind because for some reason, they rarely stop at one try. That guy contacted me over a month later to ask again for homework help due in a few hours.

I don’t report them because they are making legit offers. I archive them and when I see later that I marked them I know from the start that I’m not going to work with them at lower than super-premium prices. Fiverr fun!!

It’s funny how the worst are more easily recalled. There have surely been hundreds of awesome experiences though.

As for the worst… A client ordered slogans and had me log into her website to manually make the changes of dozens of products. It was a huge hassle but I went along with it, anything for repeat customers (well… almost anything).
