Can I refund to buyer, without cancellation?

I need to know, if I can refund some money to a buyer as he ordered by mistake and I dont want to cancel the order before trying anything else that may be possible.

The only way to refund the buyer is by mutual cancellation, this will cancel the order and refund the Buyer for the mistaken order.

A mutual cancellation won’t hurt your ratings in anyway, so there’s nothing to worry about. I’ve had that happen to me before too.
