As public relations and marketing experts, we are surprised at the lack of marketing a lot of Fiverr sellers undertake. A lot of sellers are not taking advantage of many tools they have at their disposal, this include the internet and their local media.



We get asked a lot by sellers on how they can increase their sales so I thought I would share some tips with you.

1. Take advantage of the Internet, after all you are using Fiverr to sell your services and your sales are going to come from the Internet, so why ignore the biggest shopping network you have at your disposal.
   
2. Write a press release and distribute it online to promote your Fiverr service.
   
3. Use social media networks to let potential customers know about your service or services
   
4. Use local media to promote your Fiverr service
   
   
   
   A lot of people fail to think about their local media to promote their Fiverr service, but this is important.
   
   
   
   Speaking as an ex-editor of a magazine, newspapers and magazines need content to fill their publication. Without content no one will read the publication, and without any readers there would be no advertisers. So, it is important to look at your local media and let them know about your service.
   
   
   
   Think of a good story that they would be interested in, and then contact them. Send them a press release and then follow this up with the same press release five days later. If you do not get any feedback, then give them a call and ask them if they have seen your press release, while at the same time selling your story to them.
   
   
   
   You also need to do this with local radio stations and try and get on air to talk about your service.
