A newbie that has questions

I have gotten a few requests already and I put my information in the box that allows you to have 1200 characters. Is this where I go? What is the upload box for then? Should I be using it? Is there a step by step video to watch to learn to learn the site?

The upload box is where you upload finished work, your word documents, pdf’s, etc. Technically, you could copy and paste your document into the window, and if it’s 1,400 words then put 1,000 words first and the rest on the second box, but why bother?

so you are saying do it elsewhere on my computer like wordpad or somewhere else? It only gives you 1200 characters thou not words. AND if I did want to copy and paste how would I give it to the buyer to finish it?

Reply to @karmaanng: Ok, firstly on the sale’s chat window, at the top there will be a button saying “DELIVER YOUR ORDER” once you click on that button a window will appear, in that window you’ll click “UPLOAD WORK” and will navigate to the text file you’ve created, it will take a while to upload it, until it’s done the “UPLOAD WORK” button will be grayed out, while it’s uploading use the box titled: “DESCRIBE WHAT YOU’VE DONE” to, well… Describe what you’ve done, also make sure to include any detail that may be pertinent for the gig, once it’s all done the grey button at the bottom called “DELIVER WORK” will turn green, then you’ll just have to press it and the gig is delivered!

Reply to @karmaanng: “And for a great many reasons”, yes please do deliver the work as a file created on your computer and not as plain text in the gig’s window… A simple .txt file created on notepad will suffice!
