Received email that a friend of mine gifted me a $5 gig but…I don’t know how to claim it. It doesn’t show up anywhere in my dashboard or whatever you call it.

This is the first time I’ve heard about fiverr gig gifts. Check whether the email is from the same address where you receive other emails from fiverr

I even looked in Paypal to see if the gift voucher ended up there. Am afraid my elderly friend who gifted me threw her money down a black hole. Do you know how to actually contact someone who works at Fiverr? The help files do not seem to contact anyone unless I am missing a link somewhere

Try sending a message to Customer Support.They will answer you in 3-5 days,Hope you are not in hurry to spend that money 😃

Fiverr support is looking into it. It may take them longer than a day to get back to me.

Fiverr.com won’t allow me to use their $5 gift voucher because they said it was for new members only and I had signed up with the site a long time ago. I asked them to refund my friend’s money, but I have not heard back from them yet.

The gifts are free even for the sender. If you click the give a holiday gift gig, it just asks for their email address. I think it is literally a free gig to bring new buyers in.
