I have to offer a small tip: use a picture of YOURSELF for your profile. If you don’t have or don’t want to use a picture of yourself, use an image that represents the work you do for the bulk of your gigs.



In most advertising a pretty face sells product, but in the arena of five dollar gigs, it’s far more important to build trust as soon as possible. Obviously, if you have a pretty face, all the better for you, but don’t just use some random, attractive image off the internet in an effort to get attention.



You want buyers to buy, not just click to read your profile and then move onto to someone more professional for the work.
