Gig extra & optional buyer requirements - Any way around this?

Hi everyone!



I have an issue that I am struggling with on behalf of my buyers. When a buyer purchases my main gig (i.e. 10 must have forms for new coaches) and don’t want to add the gig extra (i.e. add your logo to the forms) they are still having to submit “buyer requirements” even though they don’t need to submit anything. I have the main gig set up with optional buyer requirements because I need their logo if they purchase the gig extra, but it’s still requesting information from them even if don’t order the gig extra and then I can’t process the order.



Does anyone know how to make “buyer requirements” only required for gig extras and not the main gig ordered? I don’t want every buyer to have to submit essentially nothing if they only order the main gig.

Hi. You may not get a response as this Forum is supposed to be for offering tips. This question really belongs in the FAQ forum or Chit Chat and even the Suggestion box.



Your buyer can just write a line of text explaining what it is they are doing. Indicate in your instructions they need to write something specific for the order to process…

There’s no way to make buyer requirements only required for gig extras.



As scoban said, just instruct your buyers to write something in the buyer requirements field.



I had several buyers who discussed what they needed through messages, and sent me everything through messages. Once they ordered the gig, they’d simply write “as discussed” or something like that.
