kaytee_seo
I have created my gigs in Online Marketing category on the very first day of this month. I did some promotions on social media and forum and it worked after two weeks but now I have got stuck! Although my gig still appearing in fiverr search results.I want to ask that since the holiday season is on its way, so does this affect traffic on some categories like mine?Does anyone has idea? deanstokes
Yes - having spoken to the Fiverr team, and from what I’m seeing, the traffic drops around holiday season. Having said that, you can see that Fiverr are having a big push with holiday themed gigs this year to keep people visiting. It’s probably worth thinking of a holiday gig to be included in that section of the site.
solow13
I think it depends on the niche, some will drop some other will sell more.
catwriter
What solow13 said. Some people need gigs done for the holidays, or will have time during the holidays to pursue their passion projects.

solow13
You shouldn’t wait for orders instead you have to promote your gigs and portfolio to potential buyers.
kaytee_seo
Reply to @solow13: I tried my best to promote my gigs to social media and still trying. I also published an article on hubpages but still no more order.
ryuken
Yes it does and only applicable to US or christmas celebrating nations. Countries where christmas is celebrated in less numbers, are going on normal routine so have to keep the shop open 🙂
