I'm a graphic designer specializing in complex illustration logos of different types and styles (

). My best seller package is my premium package. Algorithms are not my field but Chatgpt helped me prepare my argument after saying "I could be onto something important". 

I've always known that I've much fewer buyers than the average seller, because my prices are much higher. So on Fiverr most of my buyers are either 

 buyers (comparable with others) who trust my competence, or 

 who come to me after having cancelled many orders or having had bad experiences with sellers that could not capture their vision (not comparable with others). What made me suspicious that even when I completed all my orders with these buyers, my success score did not change or even went down. 

I attended a seminar where I learnt that Fiverr compares the performance of individual sellers with similarly priced sellers for the success score. This sounds fair, but in my price range the seller pool and order volume are significantly smaller, potentially leading to skewed comparisons.

From my pricing insights, I learned that my best selling package 

has a price higher than 99% of recently sold packages on Fiverr

. From my experience this chart makes a lot of sense, it's as if my buyers first try packages for $51-$100 (they often tell me they were let down or the previous freelancer stopped answering), get burned, reach out to $200-$300, maybe they get rejected because their requirements seem not worth the hassle, and then they come to me. 

My clients often come after failed attempts with lower-priced sellers, leading to complex, high-stakes projects. 

The Success Score, which compares sellers to the general population, may penalize me for serving these niche clients. 

My low order volume means negative impacts from these potentially difficult clients are not diluted like they would be for high volume sellers. 

The pricing insights show that my buyers are in the top 3% of spending. 

The Success Score may be unintentionally pushing me to abandon these high-value, complex projects. 

Buyers with complex needs may be leaving Fiverr, believing their projects are impossible here. 

Buyers could be rating the whole process of finding a suitable freelancer, not just my work. Or: 

Potential frustration from previous cancelled orders. 

Realization that an agency might be better for their needs. 

Reflecting on their own wrong requirements, even if I delivered as requested. (eg: ordering a watercolor logo and later realizing the printing costs are prohibitive, and that a simpler style would have been more practical) 

with a complex buyer, or who received a negative review, is more likely to have a success score of 10 in comparison to me after successfully completing a $500 order with them with a 5 star review but no private rating. That seller has a high order volume so the impact gets diluted. I have low order volume and the success score may read "I'm not excelling at delivering value". 

Fiverr's Success Score may be biased against high-priced, low-volume sellers who specialize in difficult, high-stakes projects.
