My impressions have decreased.

Initially, all four of my gigs had impressions above 20, and I stayed online throughout the day. However, my mom faced health issues, and I became busy with her treatment. Unfortunately, she passed away. When I checked my gigs later, their impressions had dropped to less than 2.

Does staying online affect impressions, or do I need to optimize my gigs?

What's wrong with you?? Shouldn't you be prioritizing yourself and your family during difficult times??

My gig impressions significantly increase when I receive an order that results in a 5-star review. Additionally, I get the least impressions on a new gig I created this year. It started with 27 impressions, and today, there were 87 without getting any orders. 

Fiverr values gigs that sell, not sellers that are continually online.

It is a natural process. It will grow again. Do not think about it.
