@Lena  @Kesha

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I encountered while verifying my account. I am a Level 2 seller from Sri Lanka and have been working on Fiverr since 2023.

Recently, I attempted to verify my account using my National ID card, which is issued by the Sri Lankan government. Unfortunately, the verification was unsuccessful. My National ID card contains Sinhala (the local language) and Tamil (the secondary language) text, and I believe this may be the primary issue causing the problem.

I later received an email stating that my account could not be approved as a seller account. In response, I submitted a ticket (#12751074) to the Help Center, and I was informed that I would have another attempt to verify my account. However, this option is not currently appearing on my account.

At the moment, I do not have any other official documents to prove my identity. Additionally, obtaining a driver’s license or passport within the given timeframe is quite challenging.

I am deeply passionate about working on Fiverr and truly wish to continue my journey on this platform. Could you please guide me on how I can resolve this issue? Your support in this matter would mean a great deal to me.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
Sampath Kumara

@Lena

Thank you for your response and for understanding the challenges I’m facing. I truly appreciate the support and guidance provided by the Customer Support team so far.

I wanted to ask if it will be possible to verify my account using my National ID card, as it is the only official document I currently have available. I have reopened a ticket since the previous one was closed and am eager to proceed with the verification process.

Your clarification and assistance in this matter would mean a lot to me. Thank you for your time and support.

I don't think that language is the reason of your failed verification. My CNIC (I am from Pakistan) has Urdu language in it but I still got verified at 1st attempt. It does not matter what the language is.. but it should be clearly visible (while uploading its front and back picture), accurate and same info should be added which you did while creating an account..

Wait for Fiverr Support's response. They will guide you and might provide you a verification link again!

Thank you for your reply. Did you fill in your name in Urdu in the personal information section? I did not fill in my full name in the name section as well as I use English . I saw some posts saying that we should write the exact same name as it appears on our ID card.

Nope. I put my name in English. It worked well..

No, it's not like that. Write your name in English..

Hi @Lena

I believe I completed the verification process in 2022, so I assume there is no need to repeat it. I only need to fill in the required details, correct?

Additionally, I am currently living in a different place from where my documents were issued. However, I created my account in the place where I currently reside, so my account reflects that location. During the verification process, should I select the place that issued my documents? This is because all my documents, including my passport (which I used to verify my account previously), were issued by my home country, even though I am staying elsewhere at the moment.

Hello @Lena @Kesha,

I’m reopening my ticket because I haven’t been able to verify my account, and I’ve been waiting for a response for over a day. In the past, I received replies quickly, but this time, there hasn’t been any update.

I’m also concerned because I received a notification saying my level is at risk due to a low success rate, which is caused by the unavailability of gigs. Could you please check on this for me? Let me know if there’s anything I need to do from my side to resolve the issue.

Ticket Number: #12751074

Thank you,

Were you able to get the ID verification done? I am facing the same problem as you. The Sri Lankan Sinhala ID is not being verified. I would like to know what solution you have taken for it.
