I am a new seller too and I got 2 of those kind of messages in 3 hours of opening my gig.

It’s normal to get messages quickly as a new seller. Just reply politely and do your best

This is a scammer. Don't share your email or any personal information. Fiverr will suspend the scammer within a few hours.
It's normal to get this type of message after creating a new gig.

It's important to follow Fiverr's Terms of Service to protect both yourself and your account. Sharing personal contact information, such as an email address, or completing transactions outside Fiverr is strictly prohibited and can lead to your account being suspended or banned.

If a buyer asks for your email to place an order, you can politely inform them that all communication and transactions must be done within the Fiverr platform for security and transparency. Here's how you can respond to the buyer:

"Thank you for your interest in my services! For security and to comply with Fiverr's Terms of Service, all communication and order placement need to be done here on Fiverr. Let me know how I can assist you, and I'll be happy to guide you through the process!"

This way, you maintain professionalism while ensuring you stay compliant. Always keep your communication and work within Fiverr to protect your account and reputation. 😊

Fiverr should block new buyers to send image or any other links before placing any order.. After placing an order buyer can send image and links. I think this method will reduce those spamming attempts.

I've clicked the 3 dots on right side of their comment in the message screen and it does not provide an option to "report" it only has 3 options which are 1. Mark as Unread 2 . Move to archive 3. Delete

any suggestions? I just created my 1st gig this afternoon and was excited to see people messaging and then I read their suspect request for my e-mail address & then a another person messaged requesting info for my paypal account. what is the solution here? how do i report? or do i just delete an just sift through future spam?

Hello everybody im new in fiver i have fail to their scam if you accept they will send you an email going as fiver to click the link i did click it i dont know when you are desperate for a job you will go desperate they first will ask you to fill a form then to give them the one time pin since it doesent work they will ask you to put you card and details saying they will try from their system. Anyways it was to late for me to realize to then receive a call from the bank that my account was compromise and had to block and i lost all my earnings  and everything i own. Their trick for them to tell you that the policy is that you need 250 dollars for you to receive payments. I lost to the trick although i never loose to the scams. Since i went through the expirience i want to share it so everybody  you can know and share the story. so we and everyone dosent get scam as a new freelancer or old freelancer. I sent my support request to Fiver waiting for comfirmation to tell them my story.    if you will liek to know how to identified when you receive the link the logo font doesent look the same but similar. Good luck for all the freelancers and old ones.

It's a scam!
Report immediately and never share your personal information, phone number, bank account number, or credit card information.
Please maintain this flow chart for every marketplace:
1. Discussion on the project
2. Agreement on project responsibilities and budget
3. Progress on order and provide updates using the order page or personal messaging section
4. Deliver the project and provide revisions if necessary
5. Completion of order
6. Review and rate each other
7. Keep communication for future projects without disturbing the client.
