hi, i'm currently facing the same problem. how to fix this?

Contact customer support and be patient. They will give you another chance to verify.

I was a Seller Plus: Premium member, so I received quick responses (usually within an hour) but in your case, it may take 2-3 days or even longer. Avoid sending multiple follow-ups or creating new tickets.

what was the cause of your verification failure?

for me, when i took selfie with NID and face scan, it always failed. i think it because i look very different from my NID photo and my current look.

I do not know. The documents I uploaded were very clear (as they were taken from my iPhone) and all the details were true and legit. They were failing randomly without any specific reason. It looks like their algorithm and system are very weak and glitchy in terms of verification and it’s just failing people randomly.

There’s nothing that can be done apart from contacting customer support. But one thing is for sure, they are very helpful in these cases and will always provide multiple options to re-verify (as long as you are patient and don’t spam them).

did you pick "Outside of my primary job or profession" or "As part of my primary job or profession"?

Choose whatever is suitable for you.

Did they mention that you will need to include your face and document in the same photo? For me, they first asked for a photo of the document using the back camera and a separate selfie using the front camera.

"As part of my primary job or profession" -- since I am freelancing full-time. But choose what suits you best, as @donnovan86 mentioned above.

ooh i think i misunderstood. i thought the first photo was selfie with ID card. so that's why i got rejected.

how about you? did you follow the instruction correctly, but still got rejected at first?

yes, i picked "As part of my primary job or profession". but since i read on other thread, they said if you pick "Outside of my primary job or profession" it automatically verified, but if you pick "As part of my primary job or profession", you have to take pictures of your ID and selfie, but the system is glitchy, and you probably get rejected.

i've contacted CS, they said i can do verifying again by clicking "verify" button on my "Personal & Business Info", but i don't find it, as you can see on the image i attached. how were you resolve yours?

as @donnovan86 mentioned above.

I went through the exact situation you had, account stopped, gigs paused, thankfully the second try worked for me, with another type of ID...  Scary..

Just a heads-up: Do not use your Driving License. It’s the one that fails "in most cases" (based on what my friends have experienced).

For me, only the PAN Card worked and all other IDs failed.

Fiverr should think carefully before launching or implementing anything. Asking for verification is fine but there is no need to deactivate gigs immediately after failed attempts. The last date is February 16 (if I am correct), so it would make more sense to deactivate profiles in bulk on that single day (for those who have not verified). Deactivating daily does not make any sense. They should at least allow users multiple attempts until the final deadline (February ~16).

Even TRS are suffering from this. The stress of losing an account (even temporarily) feels almost like a heart attack.🥹

It was stressful for sure, but I knew they solve it. And thankfully I didn't need more than 2 tries...

My passport. I used my country's ID first but that one is quite older when compared to the passport. And I lost quite a bit of weight since that picture, so I can only assume that my facial structure changed enough to trigger issues.

I recommend you to use the newest form of ID you have. For me it was the passport, for others it might be their country's ID or other ID form.

I am not sure why verification of other sellers are getting failed? When I verified myself, it requested me to open a camera (I was on laptop that time), I turned it on (webcam). That time, my hairs were sort of curled (came back from a wedding event).. so obviously I was looking different from my CNIC (National Identity Card) but it still approved me at 1st attempt. :classic_ninja::classic_biggrin:

Probably sellers are not submitting their identity card's images properly or they are blurry?

Is your address written on the pan card's front side?

Did you provide your address? And you uploaded the front side of your CNIC ? Also if you're from Pakistan then you know that the address on our CNIC is written on the back and in Urdu.

Did you take a shot of the bottom page (where the photo is) or both pages of the passport (top and bottom)? I took both pages first and got rejected. CS didn't get back to me yet. Also, I have long hair now, on the passport image I had short hair like my DP.  Stressful times.

Yes, I provided the same address like in CNIC. Translate the address which is in Urdu to English. What's difficult in it? Definitely uploaded front and back of CNIC which is why I got verified easily..

Wait for CS.

I just took an image of the ID page on the passport. I assume depending on the country, the structure might differ. Wait for customer support to reply, they are the only ones to help.

Nope! In India, we do not have an address on the PAN card (neither on the front side nor the back). We do have a QR code though (on the front) but I am not sure if the address is embedded in it.

Even my profile picture on it is from my school days, with very short hair making me look like a completely different person. I have no idea how this algorithm is approving or rejecting the verifications.
