Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm a bit confused about the seller review section. There seem to be two types of reviews:

  1. One is for the order, where once we submit our review, the buyer's feedback becomes visible to us.
  2. The other is for the buyer's comments, which is stated to be public.

Are these two reviews the same?

If we don't review the buyer's comments, will that comment not be visible on our profiles?

Also, on the buyer's profile, which review will be public? Can someone clarify this for me?

Thank you!

Thank you for your respond, please see the attached image, I want know about seller side reviews.

Seller's Review: Gets displayed on the buyer's profile.
Buyer's Review: Gets displayed on the seller's profile.

Seller's Response (that you are referring to): Gets displayed under the buyer's review (on your profile).

Helpful in cases where a buyer rates you 1 or 2 stars with negative feedback. In your response, you can defend yourself and share your side of the story, helping future buyers understand both perspectives.

Do you mean, by answering buyer's review?

So to clarify things, there are 2 types of reviews. There's the public review, which is what you mentioned. The buyer will share their review and once you reply (or after 10 days even if you don't reply), it will appear publicly on your profile. Even if you choose to reply to that buyer's review, it's a part of the public review.

However, there is another review that buyers can leave, and that's a private review. A day or so once the order is complete/reviewed by the buyer, Fiverr will ask the buyer to leave a private review. These private reviews are not shown to sellers, in fact, Fiverr promises the buyers that sellers won't ever see their private review, so they can be more honest. From what we know, private reviews hold a lot of importance when it comes to ranking gigs, much more than public reviews.
