So, I have a brother who wants to start his freelance career with me and is asking me if he can just join me so I handle most of communication or marketing part and he handles the most technical part. We are planning to build and work with my account. As Fiverr asks for transparency and I have never been a good rebel, is it against Fiverr's policies for 2 guys to work on same account cause some blogs say it but others don't?

Fiverr allows multiple people to work on the same account if the account represents a team or agency, provided that there is full transparency and no misleading practices. Here are the key points to consider:

  1. Transparency: Fiverr requires clear communication with buyers. If your brother is handling the technical part, you should mention that in your gig descriptions or communicate it to potential clients. For example, stating, "Our team includes a technical expert to ensure quality delivery" is a good practice.

  2. Account Ownership: Fiverr accounts are meant to be personal. If you are the account owner, you are ultimately responsible for all activities on the account, including communication and delivery.

  3. Agency Option: Fiverr has a feature called Fiverr Studio, where multiple freelancers can collaborate on projects under one gig. This might be a better solution if you plan to share responsibilities.

  4. Avoid Misleading Practices: Representing the account as solely yours while your brother works in the background without buyers' knowledge could violate Fiverr's policies on transparency and honesty.

Yes, Fiverr allows team collaborations, but it’s important to be transparent about it. You can work together on the same account, but make sure you clarify in your gig description or profile that you’re a team and who handles what. Fiverr values honesty, so as long as you're upfront about it, it shouldn’t be an issue. Just ensure all work meets Fiverr’s standards and you stick to their Terms of Service. Good luck with your freelancing journey!
