Hi all,

I'm new seller in Fiverr, I had received 2 messages including the below screenshot asking me for my email address to complete payment, is that spam or real order?

Thanks,

As soon as you see this in a message it is a scammer or someone who wants to violate the Fiverr rules:
- a QR code (Fiverr does not use this for orders)
- the request to share your email
- the request to fill in your bank card details
- the request to deposit a certain amount into your bank account.
- the request to contact the buyer outside Fiverr (email, a chat program, etc.).
- a payment message
- stating or claiming that an order has been placed when no order is visible in your active order list.

Hi,

It’s most likely spam. Fiverr strictly prohibits sharing personal contact details like email addresses and advises keeping all communication and payments within the platform to stay protected. Genuine buyers will place orders directly through Fiverr without needing your email for payment. Be cautious and report such messages to Fiverr Support if needed.

Hope this helps!

Oh my goodness! I have a lot of that which I don't know what to do few days ago I thought they were real orders and after I had to call my bank to lock my account because I've put one of my details in one of my "i thought so order"
