We understand the value of having a community that supports and inspires you in your freelancing journey, so as we step into the new year, one of our top priorities is to make our community even stronger by creating more opportunities for freelancers like you to connect with one another.

As we plan for 2025, we want your input. What types of programs or events would help you connect with others in the Fiverr community? More webinars? Virtual clubs? Local meetups? Something else? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

There are various types of sellers on Fiverr, and I believe creating a Virtual Club based on the services we offer would greatly enhance the platform. Such a club would provide space for sellers to connect with one another more easily.

I would like to make a suggestion regarding the 'Buyer Request' feature. It would be beneficial if this option could be enabled for new sellers as well. Allowing new sellers to access buyer requests would provide them with the opportunity to actively engage with potential clients and showcase their skills from the start.

Fiverr has (rightly) abolished the "buyer request" and will not reintroduce it.

There were clubs in the past (mostly divided by country) until the "Bangladesh" club made a big mistake. Let's all hope history doesn't repeat itself. It led to a "mass purge" where thousands of seller accounts were blocked at the same time on January 1, 2023.

New sellers believe and demand Buyer Request or Briefs because they think its an EASY WAY OUT to beat the algorithm. as their gigs are not good enough to get noticed in a saturated marketplace.

Every day at least a couple of sellers come here and scream, "where are my briefs?" 🫠

And this 'active engagement' is nothing but 100s of sellers spamming the buyers with their $5 offers!!

Hi Kesha and Fiverr community!

First of all, thank you for creating this space for suggestions. I’d like to share some ideas on how we could strengthen the community and make it easier for freelancers to connect with one another.

Personally, I’d love to participate in webinars focused on specific niches, like generating images or content with AI. I think it would be incredibly useful for those of us working with emerging technologies, such as AI, to share experiences, practical tips, and success stories.

Additionally, having sections in the forum divided by service type or area of expertise would be great. This would allow sellers to interact with others who share similar interests. For example, freelancers specializing in AI-generated content or other specific fields could benefit greatly from these interactions.

I also think a space where freelancers can organize virtual meetups or exchange ideas in real time would be a fantastic addition.

I’m not sure if webinars on these or similar topics have been done before, as I haven’t seen anything related in the forum. However, if they haven’t, I believe it would be an excellent opportunity to build a more connected and active community.

Thank you for listening! I hope these ideas can help make Fiverr an even more dynamic and engaging space for everyone.

Fantastic suggestion, and something we're working on this year, is diversifying the content and the learning opportunities within our community and providing more opportunities for fellow freelancers to meet each other! Thank you so much for contributing 🫶🏼

If this were the case, Fiverr would need to review the mistake to determine what it was and to be able to take corrective measures even if they want to reintroduce it.

There is no need for a review. Thousand of sellers were violating the TOS. It led to a "mass purge" where thousands of seller accounts were blocked at the same time on January 1, 2023.
