Hi All,

Hope you're all doing well. As the title suggests: I've logged in for the first time since the holidays to find I can no longer send Fiverr messages to my clients. My account has been restricted for "This message contain a suspicious link, and couldn't be shown at this time."

However, the message I sent has no links. Not a single one. I was asking a potential client a few questions about a possible Meta ads campaign set-up (my gig is digital marketing) which involved things like budget, creative assets, locations, etc. Nowhere did I or the client post a link.

Furthermore, I have not received an email from Fiverr about this restriction. I also cannot navigate to the help and support centre on my account; the page simply doesn't load when I click it. 

This is extremely confusing and frustrating to say the least. I am quite literally in the middle of trying to provide services for a client and now I can't even talk to them. Fiverr has offered no explanation for the ban or timeline for the restriction being lifted. I can't even find a channel to talk with a Fiverr representative. All of my gigs have been taken down, again with no explanation.

Has anyone dealt with this before? I have been on Fiverr for 4 years, I have 30+ five-star reviews, and over thirty completed orders. How can Fiverr so callously disrupt my business like this?

Hi there, sorry to read your account got restricted. You should check with the Customer Support team what's the reason behind this restriction, as the issue you've described is usually not a cause for account restriction, so feel free to contact them by either sending an email to support@fiverr.com, or you can use the Contact us button to start a chat and choose the relevant categories to create a ticket. Let me just mention that if you create multiple tickets on the same subject, they'll only get closed and merged into the original one, so please use one ticket only to communicate with the team on this subject. Hi Ana,

Thank you for your reply. 

I've gone ahead and contacted customer support at support@fiverr.com. They've asked for my account details and hopefully now we can proceed with a resolution. 

I do understand Fiverr has to take certain measures to keep it's user-base safe; however, this certainly feels as though an AI or algorithm has made a severe error on my account. Thankfully, I am in a secure financial position, however, I shudder to think of the immense stress and anxiety this would put me under if this were not the case. It is severely damaging to my business and has most likely lost me a client.

Hoping Fiverr can resolve this issue for the future.
